Starting in Fall 2008, we will be offering a very comprehensive Reiki I & II Training & Certification
Reiki I Reiki is a simple, yet powerful Eastern Medicine healing technique. According to the National Institutes of Health, Reiki is classified as “Biofield Medicine”, which involves systems that use subtle energy fields in and around the body for medical purposes.” Reiki has been in use in the United States since the 1930’s. Reiki is a touch therapy and relaxation technique and one of the fastest growing forms of Energy Medicine around the world.
Reiki uses non- invasive techniques, which encourages the relaxation response. The “relaxation response,” can diminish anxiety, pain, nausea and fatigue, and can enhance the healing process. The physiological changes resulting from the “relaxation response” can boost the function of the immune system and increase a sense of well – being.
Participants will receive the Reiki attunement which will allow them to channel the Reiki energy. Experiential, hands-on opportunities will be provided to truly understand and experience Reiki healing. In this hands-on class you will learn the traditional Usui system of Reiki and have the option to continue on and learn advanced energy medicine techniques that include Reiki II and III.
Kate and Allan will lead you on a journey, taking you into the heart of Reiki. In Reiki I you will learn how to give yourself and others Reiki. You will also learn how the Reiki attunements help awaken you to your Divine potential.
2008/09 Reiki I Schedule Saturday & Sunday, October 18 –19, 2008 Saturday & Sunday, April 18-19, 2009 Saturday & Sunday, October 17-18, 2009 Time: 10am-5pm Both Days Cost: $150.00
Reiki II Reiki II training provides ongoing instruction and awareness in energy healing. Participants will review Reiki I, learn to extend Reiki energy in distance healing and practice methods of working energetically with mental and emotional states
Kate and Allan will lead you on a journey, taking you into the heart of Reiki. In Reiki I the focus was on how to use Reiki on yourself and family. In Reiki II the focus will shift from using Reiki for self-care to using Reiki to help others heal.
Reiki Level II opens you further to bring more healing energy through your body, enhancing your healing ability, intuition, giving more insight & inner knowing.
The class is a combination of lecture, discussion and experience. Practice time includes giving and receiving a complete Reiki treatment using all the hand positions, the self -treatment, practice using all the level II symbols including distant healing, and practice using all the Japanese Reiki Techniques listed in the Agenda.

We have no Master Program (Reiki III) at New Visions Books & Gifts. That is done as a retreat at the PA School of Spiritual Healing with Kate & Allan Clark. More info to follow on that program. www.paschoolofspiritualhealing.com
Reiki Share... Third Sunday of Each Month from 6-8pm Love Offering to New Visions: $5 Our Reiki share is opened to those who are attuned to Reiki. The Reiki Share is for those who desire to learn and experience more about the benefits of healing through the Human Energy Field. Reiki is a spiritual path, as well as an Energy healing modality. The more you use Reiki, the more it will use you. Held at the serene environment of New Visions Books & Gifts.
