Our popular Friday Night Forums are held each and every Friday night from 7-9pm. Friday Night Forums are a great way to learn something new and connect with people of like-minds and like-hearts! Featured are lectures on holistic, metaphysical and spiritual topics, demonstrations, channeling, platform readings, and video showings. Friday Night Forums are free and open to the public, but a $5 love offering is greatly and humbly appreciated. Our schedule is detailed on this website and our seasonal newsletter.

The York School of Esoteric Studies The York School of Esoteric Studies offers a four-year program of progressive training designed to expand consciousness, heighten awareness, and guide the individual to higher levels of inner and outer spiritual activity. The school emphasizes the study of holistic concepts throughout the four-year course of study. The curriculum is designed for the adult with no prerequisite or previous study in Esoterics, Metaphysics, or Spiritual Science. It is by studying and applying spiritual laws that we can change our unconscious beliefs and create improved conditions in our lives. Through classes and study, we can come to understand our oneness with the indwelling Divine Presence. TaroTalk is a tarot-lovers discussion and study group that has been meeting for many years on the second Sunday of every month from 6-8pm. According to U. S. Games, TaroTalk at New Visions is THE nation's longest running tarot group of it's kind. The group is free and open to any student of the tarot, regardless of your reading skill. The group is always filled with a unique mixture of riotous laughter and profound insights and wisdom. Over the years we have studied each and every card, several times as a matter of fact, explored many different ways of reading the cards, looked at symbolism, explored many tarot-related topics, and even have created our own pictorial New Visions Tarot Deck. Every meeting, we always make time for a group reading or two. TaroTalk is one of New Visions Books & Gifts most interesting and fun groups! Anyone is welcome to come and play with us! A love offering of $5 is appreciated for the space. AstroTalk is our astrology discussion and study group that meets the first Sunday evening of each month from 6-8pm to explore the beautiful celestial art and science of astrology. Since 2001, New Visions Books & Gifts has hosted the Central Pennsylvania Celebration of Life! Holistic Expo & Conference. This growing annual event is held in August at the York Fair Expo Center in York, PA, and features many holistically minded vendors and exhibitors from Central, PA and beyond who offer a plethora of goods and services to enhance your body, mind and spirit. Also featured are visionary musicians, dancers, food, door prizes, free hourly lectures and keynote speakers. The Celebration of Life! Holistic Expo & Conference is one of the largest most respected expos of it’s type in the Northeast.
As this world grows more accepting of diversity in beliefs and lifestyles, more and more people are approaching traditional life ceremonies and rites of passage in non-traditional ways. At New Visions, we have ordained Spiritual Ministers who are available to do holistic, non-denominational weddings, commitment ceremonies, funerals, blessings and rituals.
