Monthly Workshops Once a month we offer a Saturday or Weekend Workshop to help you enhance your personal and spiritual growth. Our Monthly Workshops are a great way to learn something new from a great teacher and connect with people of like mind and like hearts. Topics include such things as Alternative Healing Modalities, Angels, Astrology, Tarot, Past Life Regression, Spirituality, Personal Growth, Animal Communication, Psychic Development, Crystal Therapy, Space Clearing, Feng Shui, Divination, Wicca, Native American Spirituality, and Drumming, to name a few. If there is a workshop that you would like us present, please let us know.
If you are a teacher and want to hold a workshop at New Visions Books & Gifts, please let us know. We would love to accommodate you! Our guidelines are simple and our terms are quite fair. We will help you promote your workshop in any way we can!
Our workshops are held in our beautiful and comfortable downstairs classroom at New Visions Books & Gifts on Saturday and/or Sunday. Workshops run roughly from 10am-5pm or 1pm-5pm, depending on the teachers topic and schedule. Although we believe that classes are a great investment in your personal and spiritual growth, we try to keep our costs as low as humanly possible! We require at least 6 people to hold a workshop, otherwise, it will be cancelled. Please sing up the moment spirit lets you know that you need to and please pay the tuition at least ONE WEEK before the day the workshop is held so the teacher(s) can prepare. Thanks!

Saturday, September 20, 2008 10am-5pm, Cost: $75 Manifestation Workshop with Katye & Allan Clark Do you believe you have manifested the life you have? Do you believe you can manifest the life you want? Do you believe that your thoughts create your reality? Did you know that you are like a radio tower that is constantly sending out a certain frequency of energy? Your thought and feelings together create an “energetic blueprint” that is constantly being emitted out into the word and that the Universe reflects the vibration back to you.
During this workshop you will learn what limiting belief patterns are holding you back from manifesting the life you want. You will learn how to clear these patterns. You will learn daily manifesting routines that will awaken the incredible power that is within you. By doing these daily manifesting routines you will consciously raise your vibration and you will draw into your life that which is for you highest good.

Saturday, October 25, 2008 1-5pm, Cost $50 An Astrological Primer with Bill Trivett Did you ever have someone print out your astrological natal chart, and when you look at it, all you see is a meaningless wheel with strange glyphs and numbers? Have you ever been in a conversation with someone who knows a little about astrology and they sound like they are speaking Chinese? Have you ever wanted to have a little more understanding about astrology without having to take an entire course? Then this workshop is for you!
I have designed this short afternoon workshop for folks who know absolutely nothing about astrology, but want at least a little understanding so they don’t feel so out of it. I will teach you the “astronomy of astrology” so you can understand the “map if the heavens” that your chart really is. I will teach you the basics and the building blocks that have given astrology the reputation as “the perfect science.” I will need your birth info (date/time/place) to run your birth chart ahead of time. All of this in a fun and whimsical setting!

Saturday & Sunday, November 22 & 23, 2008 10am-5pm both days, Cost: $200 Animal Communication with Pam Saylor Animal Communication is learning the language of animals similar to the ways they speak to each other. Their language consists of images, words, feelings and emotions. Sometimes animals also send physical sensations and emotional expressions to communicate with us and each other. You can learn from all types of animals; horses, cats, dogs, hamsters, reptile, amphibians, insects, birds, etc. In this workshop, you will not only leave with a great deal of knowledge about the Animal Kingdom, you will also achieve the ability to talk with and understand animals in ways that you never thought possible. Workshop materials will be provided. Please bring a tablet and pen and wear comfortable clothing. You may bring pictures of up to three of your live and/or deceased animal companions. In order to insure valid information, please do not discuss any personal information about your animals with other workshop participants. You will receive a certificate upon completion.
Your workshop facilitator is Pamela Saylor. She is a an accomplished psychic, pet psychic, animal communicator and healer.
