Friday, June 13 A Course In Miracles and the Bible With Anna J. Jones Friday The 13th! Good Grief! Tonight, Anna will lead us in a discussion about the wonderful, yet mystical book call A Course in Miracles. She will show us how the two actually compliment each other. This would be a good evening for all of you CIM fans to attend.
Anna J. Jones is a double Reiki Master (Usui and Karuna). She has studied the Bible and A Course in Miracle for many years. She feels her purpose is to remove fear from the Bible and religious beliefs which keep people from having peace in their lives. She looks forward to a lively, love based discussion!
Friday, June 20 Ghosthunting 101: An Introduction to Paranormal Investigation with Darren Holland Daren Holland is a certified paranormal investigator with the International Ghost Hunters Society, and one of the founding members of the York County Paranormal Research Team. At only 35 years old, Darren has already accumulated over twelve years of experience studying unexplained phenomena and conducting investigations into claims of paranormal activity. Armed with some of the latest equipment in the field of paranormal research, he tries to find scientific explanations for things that go "bump" in the night. His motivation to continue this work is fueled not by debunking alleged paranormal activity, but by the handful of cases where he is left with more questions than answers.

Friday, July 4th 22nd Annual Aloha Fourth of July Party at Bill's House! Due to the holiday, there will be no forum tonight, but there is a HUGE party at Bill's house! I live front row center seats to the York Fairgrounds Fireworks Display! This will be my 22nd Annual Aloha Fourth of July Party. We have karaoke, dancing, lots of food, open bar and very good company! Plus fantastic entertainment at 9:30pm when the fireworks begin! You can't get a better seat in York! If you want to come, please let me know in advance. Please bring food and drink to share. We usually have around 200 people! Parking in this neighborhood on this day is your responsibility, not mine! Friday, July 11 Transformational Cards with Bev Kievit and Bonnie Neill Habit Bonnie and Bev authored the "Transformational Cards." This is a deck of cards that offers insight, clarity and guidance to the questions for situations that plague your life now. This evening, Bev and Bonnie will talk about how they developed the deck and will offer readings using this innovative deck of cards.
Friday, July 18 "What Planet Are You From?" with Bill Trivett This is an innovative Astrology forum where Bill will talk about the planets of astrology and personalize them in a way that you will understand how they influence your life. He will discuss how our lives have mirrored their influence and how we have "lived on those planets" from time to time in our lives. This a a most creative and insightful forum, and you will leave this forum with a deeper appreciation of Astrology and the planetary influences.

Friday, August 1 "Pow Wowing" with Helenita Ziegler York County used to be a hotbed of Pow Wowing. "The Long Lost Friend", a best-selling pow wowing book, and even Hollywood has detailed this phenomenon, which makes York an anomaly in this topic of local color. Many people talk about how they used to be taken to a Pow Wower by their grandparents. Helenita will discuss this topic for which there is very little known about it. Helenita is a writer and teacher. She contributes regularly to Sedona Magazine.

We can no longer be who we were and we are becoming better versions of our former selves. This talk began on Aug. 3, 2007 and that Friday Night Forum turned out to be a magical and remarkable evening of very candid and authentic sharing. The consensus was that we should continue this talk on a quarterly basis as a "check in" on where we are at as we all "shift." Friday, August 22 An Evening with Michael with Pamela Saylor Pamela Saylor is probably one of the premiere psychics of our area. She has been doing this good work for many, many years. Internationally known for her work as a psychic and Animal Communicator, she has been part of the New Visions family since our very beginning on Beaver St. in downtown York. (I used to mow her grass as a boy, hehe.)

Friday, August 29 Mystery Metaphysical Movie Night Bob never reveals the title of the movie we will show tonight, but it is always a goodie! Something timely, something wonderful, something enjoyable, something Spiritual Scinema. It is always a surprise! And no one is ever disappointed. There are those of you who call and want to know the title to determine if you want to come tonight, but that is always disheartening to us. Join us as we celebration the Winter Solstice as we say goodbye to 2008 and bring in 2009 in ceremony and ritual. Our ritual is simple. It is a matter of calling in the energy of the directions, our candle lighting ceremony, burning our "un-wants" and last year's wishes which we saved all year), and writing new wishes to be kept sealed in the box for all of 2008. Bring a list of all of those things you want to will away, and a list of all of those things you would like to manifest in 2009! Also, bring refreshments to share for afterwards!
