Of course, EVERYONE knows the value and numerous benefits of developing an ongoing, consistent meditation practice.  In this six week class, we will come together and discuss our success/challenges with our meditations, learn breathing techniques, learn new meditation techniques and participate in group meditation practice.  You will be asked to keep a meditation journal.  Please wear loose, comfortable clothes and bring your meditation pillow if you have one.  This class is open to all levels of meditators, and is especially helpful for people who are new to meditation. Classes are held in the beautiful, serene environment of New Visions Books & Gifts.  Previous students can re-take the class for half price.

Astrology Predictions for 2010

Jupiter, the planet of growth, expansion and luck, is in the sign of Pisces from January 2010 to January 2011.  This suggests that our need for growth and expansion is somewhat softer, more internalized and deeply spiritual.  Good news for those of us on a spiritual path.  Saturn will move out of Virgo by July, easing their burden, and will move into Libra to teach them lessons in responsibility for 2 1/2 years.  The Uranus/Saturn opposition will wane this year, hopefully resulting in people working with rather than against each other.
